CMA Praveen Bhardwaj has been a resident of Capetown since April 2015. He is a rank holder (13th All India) and a qualified Cost & Management Accountant (CMA). He holds academic degrees in B.Com (Hons.), M.Com (MA&FS), and CAMLP.
Currently serving as the Chairman of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India – Noida Chapter, DGM Finance in a Company, Praveen brings with him over 20 years of professional experience with specialization in Budgeting, Financial Accounting, Taxation, and Corporate Laws.
In addition to his professional expertise, Praveen plays a pivotal role in drafting legal documents and agreements, coordinating with Taxation Authorities, and handling matters related to the Real Estate Regulatory Authority.
As the Treasurer of Capetown in AoA 1.0, he has been instrumental in handling more than 700 cases related to Ownership Transfers, Mutations (including inheritance and blood relation transfers), Loan Transfer cases, and other compliance matters. He has also led the legal drafting of cases and official communications with government departments, ensuring transparency and due process.
Praveen has also introduced several systematic improvements in financial governance of Capetown, including the implementation of real-time ledgers of apartment owners through MyGate ERP, adoption of a No-Cash Policy, resolution of over 1000 cases of opening balance discrepancies, and ensuring that audited financial statements are published on time in compliance with bye-laws.
Shri Rajarshi Mazumdar - Vice-President
Shri Rajarshi Mazumdar has been residing in Capetown since 2016. He has done his B.Tech in Electronics & Communication, post which he did his MBA from IIM Lucknow. He has more than 15 years of experience in driving transformations across geographies in different multinational organizations. He is presently leading the Transformation practice of APAC for one of the Fortune 500 insurance organizations. Previously, he also worked in the government vertical of a Big 4 consulting firm.
Rajarshi is known for his dedication and community spirit. Rajarshi stands out for his willingness to support fellow residents of Capetown. He has been an active participant in various society events and has organized several community-building initiatives within the society. Over the years, he has also actively participated in solving various tower-related issues.
Beyond his professional and community roles, his personal interests include playing badminton, gardening, discussing sports-related matters and engaging with people from diverse backgrounds.

Shri Krishnendu Aditya - Seceratary
Shri Krishnendu Aditya has been a resident of Capetown since October 2016. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Calcutta University and a Diploma in Management. Over the course of his career, he served in a Government of India organization and later retired from a reputed multinational company in the power sector, where he built a distinguished professional legacy. He is also the holder of multiple global patents in the power sector.
Post-retirement, Mr. Aditya has remained an active contributor to the social and community life of Capetown. He has played a key role in addressing important civic issues such as electrical infrastructure, water connections, and line laying. In addition, he is an enthusiastic member of Aahoban – the Bengali Cultural Committee – where he actively supports various cultural and community-building initiatives.
Shri P K Puri - Treasurer
Shri P. K. Puri has been residing in Cape Town since December 2015. He is a commerce graduate with an MBA degree and 37 years of rich experience in sales and marketing, retired in 2016.
During his career, he worked with prominent companies in the auto tyre industry and also worked with leading manufacturers of lead-acid auto batteries."
Community Involvement:
As a senior citizen with ample time to dedicate to community service, he has actively participated in various initiatives aimed at improving the welfare of society in Cape Town. His involvement includes:
1. Active Participation in SCWA Meetings:
Regularly attend and contribute to the Society of Cape Town Welfare Association (SCWA) meetings, sharing insights and experiences related to current legacy issues facing the community.
2. Social Initiatives:
Helping Hand (Social Group): Founded and actively participated in this social group that focuses on providing support to underprivileged members of the community through various outreach programs.
Sr citizen Fun group: Founded a Sr citizen fun group consisting of 30 members.
Fridge at Gate 2: Initiated and manage a community fridge program at Gate 2, which provides food and essential items to those in need, fostering a spirit of sharing and support among residents.
Protests for Residents’ Benefits: Organized and participated in peaceful demonstrations advocating for residents' rights against builders and developers, ensuring that community voices are heard and considered in local development plans.
Plantation Drive in Lake Garden: Spearheaded a plantation drive in Lake Garden, promoting environmental sustainability and community beautification by encouraging residents to plant trees and maintain green spaces.
Vision for Community Contribution:
With his extensive background in sales and marketing, he aims to leverage his skills to benefit the community by promoting awareness around pressing issues, enhancing community engagement, and fostering collaboration among residents. He believes that his experience and knowledge can play a pivotal role in addressing Cape Town's current legacy issues while contributing positively to society’s welfare.

Smt. Alka Jain - Member
Smt. Alka Jain is a B.A graduate and entrepreneur residing in Tower CC-2, Supertech Capetown since January 2021. She is associated with the JAIN SAMAJ at Cape Town and the Ajnara Society and Cultural Group in CC1 and CC2 Ladies Club.
Social Work: Smt. Jain is also engaged as a social worker, focused on resolving daily issues within Tower CC1 and CC2.
Shri Arun Sharma - Member
Shri Arun Kumar Sharma has been a resident of Capetown since August 2015. He holds degrees in M.Sc. (Agriculture) and PGDBM and is presently working as Regional Head – (SCM) North with one of India’s reputed organizations. With over 30+ years of rich professional experience, he has developed expertise across multiple domains, particularly in supply chain management, leadership, and organizational development. He is a determined, resilient, and never-say-die fighter for a social cause.
He is well-connected and has extensive exposure to working with the highest levels of bureaucracy and government authorities across Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, and Delhi. Known as a skilled orator and poetry writer, Arun has also demonstrated strong leadership by mobilizing and guiding residents in standing united against challenges created by the Builder and its maintenance agency.
He have been involved in making SOPs, conceptualizing new business models, suggesting amendments in govt policies, including contract farming, farm output procurement, agri input and output marketing, loan disbursement to priority sectors.
He Possess indepth fine knowledge of legal framework related to APMC rules, ECA, FSSAI, PCRA, UP Apartment Act 2010, Society Bye laws, UPRERA rules, National Building Code, CIRP, UP revenue code, Stamp and registration act 1908 etc.
Exposed and widely travelled to interior parts of North, South, East and West India including J&K, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Assam, Meghalaya, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, HP, TN, KN which moulded and enriched his behavioural approach and respectful acceptance to rich and great Indian cultural, geographical and linguistic diversity.
Beyond his professional and community roles, his personal interests include reading wisdom literature, gardening, practicing yoga, bird feeding, and engaging with people from diverse backgrounds. He is deeply passionate about guiding and motivating individuals, creating a positive impact in both personal and community spaces.
Shri Mahesh Chandra Yadav - Member
Shri Mahesh Chandra Yadav has been living in Capetown since October 2015. He is graduated from Kanpur University and retired from Indian Army.
He is currently working as an Executive with one of Ministry of Defense’s Organization. He is having rich experience in resource management and conservation.

Dr. Vineet Gupta - ENT Specialist
Dr. Vineet Gupta, a long-standing resident of CG1, Capetown Society (since 2015), is an ENT specialist with over two decades of medical experience. Beyond his clinical practice, he has been a driving force in promoting health, safety, and community preparedness within Capetown.
Dr. Gupta has played a pivotal role in several healthcare and welfare initiatives, particularly during the Covid-19 pandemic:
Capetown Cares for Covid Warriors (May 2020): Organized essential kits, masks, and sanitizers for frontline workers and local police.
Isolation, Oxygen & Nursing Facility (May 2021): Set up a 24x7 Covid isolation centre at Club-1 with oxygen cylinders, nursing care, and medical supplies — offering free emergency support to residents.
Daily Online Yoga Sessions (May 2021): Conducted recovery-focused yoga sessions for residents and Covid warriors.
First Vaccination Camp (May 2021): Coordinated Capetown’s first vaccination drive in partnership with Fortis Hospital, vaccinating 359 residents.
